These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Appoppanthadi website and your purchase of products through our online store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

1. About Appoppanthadi

Appoppanthadi is a registered proprietorship fashion and casual-wear business based in Kerala, India.

Appoppanthadi offers contemporary casual-wear products including, but not limited to:

  • Kurtis
  • Short tops
  • Women’s casual wear
  • Made-to-wear garments
  • Other casual-wear products introduced through our online store from time to time

Our product range may be expanded to include additional categories in the future.

2. Eligibility

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You are legally capable of entering into a transaction under applicable law.
  • You will use the website only for lawful purposes.
  • You will not misuse, interfere with or attempt to compromise the website or its systems.

3. Product Information

Appoppanthadi makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, images, measurements, colours and other product information.

However:

  • Actual colours may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, device screens and display settings.
  • Product appearance may vary slightly from photographs.
  • Fabric characteristics may result in minor variations.
  • Availability may change without prior notice.
  • Measurements and product specifications should be checked before placing an order.

Minor variations that do not constitute a material defect may not qualify as grounds for return, refund or exchange.

4. Made-to-Wear Products

Appoppanthadi follows a made-to-wear approach for applicable products.

We may keep the required fabrics and materials ready and stitch the selected garment after an order is placed.

This means that your garment may be stitched or prepared specifically after you place your order.

Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 3–4 days after the order is successfully confirmed.

The stated dispatch period is an estimated processing timeframe and may vary in exceptional circumstances due to production, availability, logistics or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Appoppanthadi reserves the right to:

  • Limit quantities
  • Discontinue products
  • Modify product availability
  • Cancel an order where the ordered product is unavailable

If Appoppanthadi cancels an order because the product is unavailable, the applicable amount paid by the customer will be refunded through the applicable payment method.

6. Pricing

Prices displayed on the website are stated in Indian Rupees unless otherwise specified and are inclusive of applicable taxes as represented on the website.

Appoppanthadi reserves the right to change product prices at any time.

Price changes will not affect an order that has already been successfully accepted and confirmed, except where required to correct an obvious pricing or technical error.

For international orders, additional charges such as applicable customs duties, import taxes or destination-country charges may apply depending on the destination and applicable regulations.

7. Payment

Online payments are processed through PhonePe and other applicable payment services made available through our ecommerce platform.

Cash on Delivery (COD) is currently not available.

Appoppanthadi may introduce additional payment methods in the future.

An order is considered successfully placed only after the payment and order confirmation process has been completed.

8. Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you may receive an order confirmation through the contact information provided by you.

Appoppanthadi reserves the right to contact you for verification or clarification where necessary.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing and shipping information.

9. Order Cancellation by Customer

Customers may request cancellation of an order within 24 hours of placing the order, provided that:

  • Processing has not started; and
  • Stitching or production has not started.

Because applicable products may be stitched after an order is placed, cancellation will not be permitted once stitching, production or preparation of the order has commenced.

Where cancellation is permitted, the applicable refund will be processed through the original payment method, subject to the applicable payment provider’s procedures.

10. Order Cancellation by Appoppanthadi

Appoppanthadi reserves the right to cancel an order where:

  • The product becomes unavailable.
  • There is an obvious pricing or technical error.
  • The order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
  • The transaction appears fraudulent or unauthorised.
  • The customer provides incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Circumstances beyond Appoppanthadi’s reasonable control prevent fulfilment.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with the applicable refund process.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Appoppanthadi may use shipping partners including:

  • DTDC
  • India Post
  • Other applicable logistics providers

Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 3–4 days.

Actual delivery time depends on the customer’s location, shipping service, destination, logistics conditions and other factors.

Appoppanthadi is not responsible for delays caused by courier or logistics providers after an order has been dispatched.

For international orders, delivery timelines may also be affected by customs clearance, destination-country regulations and international logistics.

Customers may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes or other destination-country charges where applicable.

12. International Orders

Appoppanthadi accepts orders from customers in India and other countries.

International customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and complying with applicable destination-country requirements.

Additional customs duties, taxes, import charges or other fees may be imposed by the destination country. Such charges, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

International delivery timelines may vary depending on customs, logistics and destination-country requirements.

13. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

All returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by Appoppanthadi’s separate Refund, Return & Exchange Policy.

Returns are generally accepted only where Appoppanthadi verifies a genuine issue attributable to Appoppanthadi, such as:

  • Product damage
  • Manufacturing or stitching defect
  • Wrong product
  • Incorrect product or specification caused by Appoppanthadi
  • Missing item
  • Other verified fulfilment errors attributable to Appoppanthadi

Any eligible issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product, together with the required continuous and unedited opening/unboxing video.

Customers may choose between a refund or exchange where the claim is approved, subject to the applicable policy and product availability.

14. No Returns for Change of Mind

Due to the made-to-wear nature of applicable products, Appoppanthadi does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges merely because:

  • The customer has changed their mind.
  • The customer no longer wants the product.
  • The customer does not like the product after receiving it.
  • The customer has changed their personal styling preference.
  • The customer selected an incorrect size voluntarily.
  • The customer prefers a different colour or appearance where the product matches the ordered product.

Minor colour variations resulting from photography, lighting or screen settings do not constitute a defect.

15. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate name, contact and shipping information.
  • Selecting the correct product and size before placing an order.
  • Reviewing product descriptions and size information before purchase.
  • Ensuring that the delivery address is complete and accurate.
  • Inspecting the package and product immediately after delivery where possible.
  • Recording the required opening/unboxing video for any potential claim.
  • Reporting eligible issues within the specified time period.

Appoppanthadi will not be responsible for issues resulting from incorrect information voluntarily provided by the customer.

16. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Appoppanthadi website, including:

  • Logos
  • Brand names
  • Product photographs
  • Product descriptions
  • Graphics
  • Videos
  • Designs
  • Text
  • Website layout
  • Other original content

is owned by or licensed to Appoppanthadi unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish or commercially exploit such content without prior written permission.

17. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website.
  • Introduce malicious code.
  • Scrape or copy website content for commercial purposes.
  • Interfere with website operations.
  • Use the website for fraudulent purposes.
  • Impersonate another person.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Use the website in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

Appoppanthadi reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where misuse or unlawful activity is suspected.

However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Appoppanthadi shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Courier or logistics delays
  • Customs delays
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Technical failures
  • Internet disruptions
  • Unforeseen supply or production issues
  • Payment service disruptions
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or transactions with Appoppanthadi shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, or such other jurisdiction as may be determined in accordance with applicable law.
