Appoppanthadi is a modern casual-wear brand built around three simple ideas, comfort, quality and thoughtful design.

As the sister brand of UYIRR, Appoppanthadi carries forward the experience of creating clothing that puts comfort first. Founded by Abitha Chandran, a mother of two and passionate woman entrepreneur, the brand brings that philosophy into everyday fashion for a new generation.

Starting with kurtis and short tops, Appoppanthadi is designed for college students, young professionals and anyone who wants their everyday wardrobe to feel comfortable, contemporary and effortlessly stylish.

Comfort Begins With What You Wear

We believe that great clothing starts with the fabric.

From the materials we choose to the way every garment is stitched, we focus on creating clothing that feels as good as it looks. Our inspiration comes from the simplicity and purity associated with natural fibres, reflected in our approach to choosing fabrics that prioritise comfort and quality.

Appoppanthadi follows a made-to-wear model, we keep the fabric ready and stitch your garment after you place your order. This allows us to give attention to each piece while avoiding the need to maintain large quantities of finished garments.

Your order is stitched and dispatched within 3–4 days, making every piece feel a little more personal.

What begins with women’s kurtis and short tops will gradually grow into a wider collection of contemporary casual wear, with plans to explore new categories including men’s casuals.

Our ambition is to create a brand that makes everyday fashion feel comfortable, accessible and contemporary, without compromising on the quality of what you wear.
